Description
Designed in 1965 by international legends Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, the Radiofongrafo is an iconic work of modern industrial design. Handcrafted in Italy according to its 1965 specs, the console includes a Project turntable with an Ortofon cartridge, AM/FM radio, preamp audio jack for headphones, and multiple audio outputs for connecting external sources like a subwoofer or an additional amp. The speakers not only provide top-notch sound, but they’re versatile enough to flip up and down at the side or the top for the best fit for your environment. And it’s even more mobile thanks to the cart it sits on with forged aluminum wheels. As much a piece of art as it is a record console, the Radiofonografo is a beautiful addition to any design-savvy office or home.
A playful and complicit concept design that inspires a performance and a playful approach to the object, making it possible to establish an intimate relationship with this classic piece.

Much loved by David Bowie, who kept a special version of it in his home, the radiofonografo was born from Achille Castiglioni’s personal conviction that “Objects must keep you company”. Wherever it is located in the house the radiofonografo adds personality, grabbing the attention and establishing a reciprocal relationship between object and user. Assembled from the highest quality materials and components and the product of expert craftsmanship, the re-edition of the rr126 radiofonografo is Brionvega’s homage to the world’s most famous sound design.
